Who we are

DigestOS is operated by Colin Moore, an individual based in Ontario, Canada. By using DigestOS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What DigestOS does

DigestOS connects to your Gmail account using read-only access, identifies emails from senders you specify, summarizes them using AI, and delivers a weekly digest to your inbox. You configure which senders to monitor, who receives the digest, and when it is delivered.

Your account

You must have a valid Google account to use DigestOS. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. DigestOS accesses your Gmail using the permissions you grant during Google sign-in. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings.

Acceptable use

You agree to use DigestOS only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use DigestOS to monitor email accounts you are not authorized to access
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

DigestOS is intended for personal use to monitor your own email streams.

Service accuracy

DigestOS uses AI to summarize your emails. Summaries may not capture every detail and are not a substitute for reading important communications directly. DigestOS does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of generated digests. You remain responsible for staying informed about communications that are important to you.

Subscription and payment

DigestOS is currently available as a free trial for invited users. When paid plans are introduced, you will be notified in advance with clear pricing information. You may cancel your account at any time. Cancellation stops future digest runs and removes your data upon request.

Termination

You may stop using DigestOS at any time. Colin Moore reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used in a way that harms the service or other users. If your account is terminated for cause, you will be notified by email where possible.

Limitation of liability

DigestOS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. DigestOS is not liable for missed events, inaccurate summaries, or any loss arising from reliance on digest content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of DigestOS to you for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim (which is $0 for current free trial users).

Privacy

Your use of DigestOS is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information in compliance with Canada's PIPEDA.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of DigestOS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
